TX03000   TJHSST Admissions Test Prep Seminar

Open to students who will enter grade 8 in the 2009-2010 school year and wish to prepare for the entrance exam. Students should have strong mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills appropriate to viable candidacy for admission. Taught by endorsed teachers, coursework focuses on admissions test-related mathematical and verbal reasoning, essay writing, and study strategies. Other topics include enhancing individual test performance and building confidence. Textbooks and workbooks are provided. Participation in this course does not constitute application, admission, or acceptance to TJHSST. Transportation is the responsibility of the parent/guardian. Bring snack for 30 minute break period. Reduced tuition is not available. There are no refunds issued for this course. Online registration is not available to non-FCPS students; see additional registration requirements at http://www.fcps.edu/DIS/OACE/RegistrationOptions.htm. 10 sessions @ 4 hrs each.
